The below is a position with ASPEQ Heating Group. ASPEQ Heating Group is a marketplace leader in innovative electric heating solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial markets. With a portfolio that includes baseboard, wall, unit and infrared heaters as well as ceiling fans and air circulators, we create simplified heating solutions for our complex world.

How you will make an Impact (Job Summary)

SPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. As a Material Handler, you will utilize equipment to provide material and parts to support production needs.

What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)

While each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities will be:

  1. Stock part bins
  2. Set up layout carts.
  3. Unload sheet metal & lumber
  4. Put away miscellaneous parts & elements.
  5. Assist in shipping as needed.
  6. Remove empty pallets, crates & boxes from production floor.
  7. Empty trash, sweep
  8. Assist in keeping production areas clean & tidy.

What we are looking for (Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education)

We each bring something to the table, and we are looking for someone who has:

Required Experience

  • One to three months related experience and/or training

Education & Certifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Prior forklift experience and certifications

Travel & Working Environment

  • Employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
